Mentioned analyzes public YouTube metadata to show which beauty products creators repeatedly mention. This policy explains what data we handle.

What we collect

Browsing Mentioned requires no account or personal data. If you create an account, we store your email address and, optionally, a display name. Saved products, creators and videos you choose to sync are linked to your account.

How we use it

Your email identifies your account and lets you sign in across devices. Synced saves are used only to show your own lists. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

Affiliate links

Opening a shop link may share standard request data (such as your IP address and a referral tag) with that retailer and our affiliate network so a purchase can be attributed. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

Data retention & deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Profile screen. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Creator data

Creator names, mentions and video summaries are derived from publicly available YouTube data. Mentioned is not affiliated with the creators shown unless explicitly stated.

Creator & brand requests

Creators and brands can request removal of their name, likeness, mentions or images. Email support@heymentioned.com and we will review and act promptly.
